grand cash and 12500 in credit? should i try tax liens, buy at an foreclosure auction or what? this all sound very confusing and i will never escape poverty throwing my money away on rent. i do have good credit but no steady job, and my mom has shitty credit (no credit accounts, some collections mostly heath-care related)so i don't think i can get a mortgage, or could we somehow combine this to get a really small loan under $20,000-30,000
or is that mortgage impossible, and the only way would be to buy at an auction for a few grand? (but i don't know anything about that either, i just know you can either get screwed or a great deal.)
are there any good books so i can learn about buying foreclosure lein taxes hud auctions or whatever that means.
the main thing that worries me is, if someone were to rip me off for everything i have (legally) id have to make orphans of their children, so i want to do this smart and learn all i can first.
