I'm getting my P's in a few days and I've decided that a sports wagon would be best, a bit of fun to drive, as well as the practicality of a station wagon for boot space etc.
Subaru sportswagons would suit nicely but all the ones I can find for that price are all wheel drives, which I believe only really excel in rally-type situations, and are just unnecessary mechanical friction, and extra fuel consumption for little gain.
Also, due to P-plate restrictions, no v8's or turbo's unfortunately.
Any help would be much appreciated - and the cheaper the better!
