When it comes to slip-ons, it's not too important as long as you buy one that's made by a reputible company, (any company who actually produces exhaust products for you manufacturers race bikes).
You can prolly get a good Yoshimura pipe off ebay or gixxer.com for dirt cheap. Yoshi makes good slip ons and they're everywhere, so you can prolly find one for less than $300. just don't let anybody b.s. you into buying some high dollar slip on that you don't need.....and also make sure you don't buy some cheap knock off either.
Just stick w/the Yoshi. it's got the most "bang for your buck"
