What is the best MSD Ignition for an 1971 Dodge D100 pickup?

It has the 318 8 cylinder with a 3sp. automatic. What changes in performance and economy will be noticed?
 
Best thing to do is install a Mopar Performance electronic ignition conversion kit. You'll be a lot happier, and it is cheaper (and better) than MSD systems.That will accomplish the main goal of dumping the breaker points and all that junk. Then do your carb, intake, heads, cam, and exhaust improvements. Check out Summit Racing's website.
