I have Nokia N73 and already tried 2 MiniSD cards of 1gb and they both failed. (A-Disk and Apacer).

I have 2 questions for all you out there:

1. What is the best MiniSD manufacturer for Nokia N73?
2. What is the best MiniSD manufacturer at all?

Thanks, Skull@

Sandisk are good... Though one thing I've noticed is that while a bunch of them have different brands on the package a lot of times they are made by the same manufacturer.

I've never had any problems with kingston or PQI stuff. I just recently bought 2 1GB Kingston MicroSDs for myself and the g/f. Decent Read/Write speeds and havnt had any problems in our 6126's. And at 9.99 plus shipping each from newegg. I can't complain.

In terms of what? How do you define the "best"? Real-world performance like read/write speed? Compatibility among many devices? Price? Durability/Life span?

{Wicked} they amazing prices. I just dunno where's the email to contact them...

the best 2GB miniSD or microSD for that matter is the CHEAPEST one that you can grab...

those brands being mentioned, sandisk, atp, kingston, nokia, apacer, are probably using the same chip from samsung anyway...

it is how you handle the memory card that dictates its life, if you are a bit clumsy you will damage it... if your phone or card reader is defective, you will also damage it... naft said

well the read/write speed plays a factor too, and u forgot to mention ATP

i still remember how ppl test it by putting it in water, fridge, slam it and somehow it still works

yea, there are those so called high speed cards, but then is your phone capable of such "high speed"??? most likely not, then such speed will only be useful in the card reader...

and i did mentioned atp....
