What is the best Military branch for me?

I would like this question answered in a way that there is no (Branch of military here) vs (Branch of military here). I also don't want recruiter talking either, I just want to know which branch would best fit me. I am in to travel, I guess I want adventure. Exploring, I would like to get mentally strong just as much as physically strong. I want a chance at maybe some kind of Special Forces but I have heard of operations that never go public, I was thinking of going to the USMC but I've read a lot on MAR SOC (Marine Recon) I know this is just a recon team but I'm not sure what all they do other than recon. My uncle is going Army and he wants to be in the Rangers, but I don't want to go into the Army, but I DO want to be in some kind of Special Forces to where there are even broader and new experiences, I'm too smart to be a bullet sponge but I'm also smart enough to use my mind as a weapon, I'm pretty new to this, anyone have any insight?? he he
