What is the best language to learn if I want to be in the military and possibly

FBI or CIA? I can speak English and Spanish(near fluent) now, but I would like to learn another, what other languages would be helpful in a career with the military or CIA. I was thinking Arabic. Thanks.
 
There's a website answering your question, I don't remember exactly what it was but it was through the CIA I think.

They need:

Arabic
Pashto
Urdu
Farsi
French (good for if you're doing missions in Africa)
Korean
Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese)

Maybe Russian too....not sure.

They need people who are fluent in more than one. So for example, Arabic and French would be a very good combination, or Urdu and Pashto.
 
There's also Korean (due to the North Korean threat) and Mandarin and Cantonese (both spoken in The People's Republic of China). Be aware, however, that Arabic and East Asian languages are much more difficult for a native English speaker to learn than is Spanish.
