What is the best horse breed for me?

Go to a barn that shows what you want to do and ask about the breeds there.

Breed really only has to do with how well a horse can do something. A thorobred can run fast for racing, and a quarter horse is better suited for rodeo stuff. Warm bloods are suited for dressage.

Has nothing to do about if the horse will get along with other horses or not. That depends on how well the horse is trained.

The two more important things are:
1. natural temperment (any breed)
2. training (how well the horse is trained)

Get a horse 10 yrs old or older. Not younger. The older and well trained horse is great as a beginner horse. More forgiving.

I am going to buy a horse and was wondering which horse breed would be a right choice for me.
* I am 12 almost 13 and am about 5'1"
* The horse would need to be a horse who could be in the pasture most of the day
* I would be showing in walk, trot, canter and show jumping.
* I am jumping about 2 feet
* The horse would need to get along with dogs and other farm animals including younger children
* It would also need to get along well with other horses as I am in a group lesson
I am also looking for a horse about 15 or 16hh as I am going through a growth spurt now. I know most of my requirements are for individual horses If you know of any online that are close to what I am looking please post the link. Thank you and even if you don't know a specific horse put down any websites that sell good horses.
