what is the best food to feed my Jack Dempsey fish so they will be as colorful

as possible?l ? They are most colorful when they have just had babies. I feed them the Hikari Cichlid gold pellets and Wardley betta pellets. Also I keep the water at about 70 to 75 degrees. The ones at the pet store are darker in color and not washed out looking.
