well i have a 98 K1500 Silverado Z71 now but used to have an 86 Custom Deluxe (same as Silverado) C10 W/T edition, the 86 was easier because it wasn't computer controlled with an ECU so no censers and the engine bay seemed bigger so more room to work with but that could have just been that it wasn't as much under the hood as my 98 so its probably the same size, i like my 98 a lot better of course because its more comfortable so i could drive all day and be fine, plus my old truck only had a 305 my truck now the 98 has a 350 and is 4x4 when the 86 was only 2wd, i kind of wish i kept the 86 just for a project truck to mess around with
