I got my M1 license and want to get a bike, i decided i want a dual sport and something within the 300-450 range. I want something that is already ready for street and passes CA DMV standards.
There is no best one, there are many great bikes out there in that size rainge.
If you're buying new, go with a dealer you trust, if used, just get what seems to be a good bike in good condition and stay within the book value price.
