Does anyone know if all degreasers are created equal? I have been using a degreaser called “Formula 88” sold at the local Home Depot for degreasing my bicycle chain and components. It works well, but I was wondering if a citrus based degreaser such as “Zep, Heavy Duty citrus degreaser” also sold at Home Depot will work better. Both of these degreasers mentioned are sold in gallon sized jugs which are cheaper than buying the degreasers sold at the local bike shop. Thank you in advance for your answers!
