What is the best debate between an atheist and a religious person?

You don't need science or Mathematics to argue whether God exists or not, only LOGIC. And the Mathematics you present holds no relevancy in the debate of whether god exists or not.

is the "debate" really an illusion caused by differences in how we model/perceive the world?

Can't easily provide a link to the debate, except to note that EVERY question/answer I put here on yahoo answers forms of it, as my religion permeates EVERYTHING I do/say/perceive.

Evidence/"proof" is ALWAYS filtered by perception/expectation. This applies to scientists/atheists EVERYONE. Perhaps have a read of this by the late Richard Feynman:--

Who says science has evidence? Evidence of what? That God does not exist. If so, science has not proven this because science can only reveal what man has discovered and man will never discover God through science.
