What is the best/cheapest way to ship a bicycle to Vietnam?

My friend moved to Vietnam and is having a hard time figuring out what the best way for him to ship his bicycle would be. The lowest rate he found through an international shipping service was around $350. This seems ridiculous but might be the case. Any advice would be great
