what is the best camera for photography?

i did have a Kodak 12mp HD camera that i used...
but then it got stolen, and i was wondering what type of camera you think is the best for photography...
like brands such as Nikon, Kodak, Sony, Panasonic, Vivitar, ect...

i'm trying to get a new one and i'd really like to know...
 
No camera is better than the other when it comes to DLSRs of the same level.
Its simply down to what you like.
I would always go with Nikon, simply because their noise reduction.
But some people like cannons.
Some go with sony for their much lower prices!

Its all down to what you like in the camera.

Plastic limited function toys.

People only buy them cos its a nikon, and think that they are big pro photographers.

It would be nice to know if you wanted a dslr, bridge, or compact/p&s.

Also, how much you are prepared to spend.
