What is the best bike to get!?!?!?! PLEASE HELP!!!!!?

I'm looking for a new mountain bike, but I'm not a hardcore biker, and I'll probably just use it for riding around, not actual mountain biker. With that said, I don't want to spend a lot of money on one. I know I won't get a great bike for under 200 dollars, but that's my price range. Any suggestions would be great and any links or specific bikes would be awesome. Thanks.
 
if your just gonna use it to ride around then you shouldnt spend 200 bucks on it you can buy cheap ones on craigs list but make sure there is a picture so you dont waste your time.

ps you can score new bikes for cheap or even some free bikes on there
 
If you buy the cheaper alternative from walmart or other dept store, you're at risk for spending far more on repairs for a bike that's made of the poorest quality components and haphazardly assembled by a poorly trained employee working under ridiculous time constraints. If you're a decent bike mechanic, you'll save some of this expense. But if you were a decent mechanic, you'd avoid purchasing it in the first place.
 
Uhh, under 200 you aren't getting much. Best you could get is something from wal-mart. For 400, you could get a trek or something, but decent bikes at that price range are non-existant.
