what is the best bike for motocross and trail riding?

The 250f bikes are great..but big bucks to re-build...Here is what happens on our trail rides..We ride 2-strokes with buddies on 4-strokes..We ride some nasty trails here in the north west (Oregon) rocks,logs..cliffs..Every time a 4-stroke kills it trying to get over a big rock or log or whatever..We spend most of our time waiting for him or them to get the 4-stroke started..There helmet off sweating like pigs..kicking and kicking....The 2-stroke fires first kick...That's the only down fall.....For trail riding..We like the light easy to throw around feel of the 2-stroke...
 
You really need a 250f if you want to do both trail and mx. Any of the known brand bikes would do you fine but have a look at the crf250r and the kx250f
 
a 250f. they make great mx bikes as well as trails, its the do-all of bikes. i recommend this yrs. Kawasaki KX250F, they're really rockin' the 09 bikes
