What is the best bicycle trunk rack in the market?

I own a MTB (Trek 4300 disc) and a road bike(Bianchi Eros),my car is a '08 Dodge Charger.I'm looking for a bicycle trunk car that will help me to transport my bikes without scratching my car.So far,I narrow my search to 2 options:Saris Bones 3 and Thule 962XT,I read mixed reviews on both of them from really good to horrible,my question is:
which one is better?
I need the opinion from someone that at one point owned either one of them and decided to switch to the other.Thank you.
 
I have a Saris bones 2 and it's the only thing that will fit over the wing spoiler on my Miata and Rx8. It works pretty good and has a lifetime guarantee. If you don't have to get in the trunk very often it will work ok. It can scratch the paint if it's not mounted secure but I never had any problem. You can get some of that 3m film to put under the pads to prevent scratches. The most convent and safest mount would be a class 3 hitch mount with a hitch mounted rack.
