work for whining and howling too? I realize that these products can be a hit or a miss depending on the dog but I am going out of my mind and I have to try something. I dont want to shock the dog into submission and I dont want him smelling like citronella. can anyone recomend a device that uses high pitched sounds instead that you have actually tried with some success? and if you have had success with the device, does it work for whining and howling too?
please help!
my dog is driving me absolutely nuts and its just getting worse
I cannot afford to bring him to a dog specialist, those people charge an arm and a leg sometimes. ive been around dogs my entire life, my mom used to breed golden retrievers and she worked wonders with them and even her advice is not helping THIS dog. he is young, hes a puppy, only about 3 months old. but since i got him, he has gotten WORSE. he whines, barks and howls more than when i first got him. and trust me, i have been consulting the websites and training books. (anyone would if they were having this issue!) im just getting so frustrated. i have never ever come across a puppy that was this needy and cried so much.
please help!
