What is the best Anime an Manga genres

I like action,Supernatural,Romance, an Adventure anime and manga.

What about u an the shows names like Claymore is Supernatural an Action

Were Ai Yori Aoshi is Romance

I'm more of the action/Adventure type of guy: Dragonball, One Piece, Fist of the North Star, Lupin III and many others.

Also, I'm getting into these Video Gmes manga's/Anime's: Street Fighter, Zelda, so on.

Plus I'm getting way into OEL Manga's. READ rabQ! READ IT!
 
personally I like shows/mangas that have a lil bit of everything in them, but for the most part I'd say I like Shonen series the best. cause most of the anime's if watched have been Shoenen, or shonenesque. But yea nothing better than a action/adventure story with some comedy mixed in. Romance is fine to I guess, in small doses.
 
I like pretty much every genre if its done well. Even sports, something I'm not into, has been done well in anime. The only things I refuse to watch are hentai, yaoi, yuri, shota, and loli for quite obvious reasons.
 
AMEN, to that my brotha! Animation is an artform, & should not be used as a smut outlet, thats one reason I dislike most AS origionals (well with the exception of Venture Bros. & Robot chiken.)

P.S. not that im saying all animes of set genres are smuty (with the exception of the 1st), but there our a decent amount that are.
 
I like just about all types,
I esspecially like anime that are harder to categorize... Baccano! or Paranoia Agent come to mind.
 
Though, there are some types of mangs's/anime I won't read/watch.
Like the high-school love real life ( or not) manga/anime. It just seems (to me) any high-school girl can full for a pretty picture, in other word: A cute guy. I always get mad when I see that. Why does it have to be a cute guy? Why does it have to be shy girl? Come on, I can think a better story then that. I know not all high-school love real life (or not) manga/anime are not like that, but I do see a lot of them in anime/manga.

The other type of manga/anime is the 1 guy living with 7 girls. I seen to much of those. 7 girls falling for 1 guy with some odd reason, and the guy is not taking avenge of it. But no, he's another shy-cute guy. I swear, does girls fall for a pretty face all the time in real life? The only anime/manga at least done this 1 guy/7 girls in a decent way is Tenchi Muyo. Its funny, action, and yeah, a little of romance. It kind of does the same this like other 1 guy/7 girls kind of thing, but at least this one works for me. (IMO)
 
Really? Stabbing your eyes out over Gravitation? That's a pretty good show if I do say so myself. Don't get how there's anything eye stab worthy in it. Code Geass, a show you seem to like, has grosser content.

Let it be clear when I said "yaoi" in my post, I meant "yaoi" as in the "porn" definition, not as in the "boys love" definition.
 
I'm mostly discussing Table Girl, which isn't really as freaky as people make it out to be but is more graphic than anything I remeraber in Gravitation.
 
Another type of manga I read are the Doujin/Doujinshi ones. Yes, yes, I do read hentai & Yuri (Well, look at the pretty picture if the worRAB are not in english). DON'T HATE PEOPLE! YOU THINK I ENJOY THIS!? (*COUGH*yes*COUGH*)

But I'm trying to find some Normal doujin/doujinshi. Just normal ones I can read in english. But those are hard to find. Mostly the normal Dragonball, One Piece, and Transformers ones.
