What is the best all wheel drive car?

My cute Volkswagen EOS is front wheel drive and has a button to push for better traction , but it doesn't always make it up my driveway in the snow. I want to get a 4 wheel drive car and was thinking of an Audi A4 but just want to make sure I get up my driveway this winter. We live in the NY-NJ area and can get a lot of snow. Any ideas? Thanks.
