...debate before voting on? There must be some advantage, because it happened with the patriot act, the "stimulus" of 2009, the bank bailouts that started under Bush etc.........it's also happening with Cap&trade legislation. (which already passed the house with a 300 page amendment added at 3am the morning before the vote which Pelosi wouldn't let Republicans read)
I know Obama said he would be the most transparent administration in history by posting bills on line for 5 days before signing them.
Is this that new style of transparency, show you the law (no one read or debated) AFTER it's passed??
