The terrible bombing in Pakistan weighed 600KG, that must have taken a lot of force to transport. Does anyone know the average weight? Just curious because 600KG seems extreme!
I worked on the Doppler ground nav radar on B-52D bombers in Okinawa in 1968. They carried 42 750lb bombs in the bomb bay and 24 500lb bombs on the wings. They made an awful lot of swimming pools in the 'nam with those.
they come in all sizes from 50 pound bombs to 25,000 pound daisy cutters
for bombing raids they usually use 500 pound bombs
Oh I thought you were talking about a air dropped bomb, for a bomb in a truck the weight is determined by how much the truck can transport, truck and car bombs are not standard Military bombs but something the terrorists made
