P ~ Pam New member Oct 3, 2011 #1 I have a 1999 Grand Prix with a 3.8 liter engine. It is closing in on 200,000 miles (at 195,000 now) and I'm starting to get worried about it. It doesn't seem to have any problem. Yet. So I'm just curious how long these cars usually go.
