What is the arm crank thread details and diameter on the typical bike? ie.

female type 12 thread, can not find?
the thread where the pedals turn onto it.
yes i am going to make one on a lathe and need to know the thread specifics
 
The crank arm uses a bolt with either a 8 mm allen or 14 mm hex head. Remove the other one and take it to a bike shop to get a replacement.

If you are a machinist it wouldn't take much to figure out the thread on the pedal.
