My 5 year old daugher broke her arm 1 week ago falling off the monkey bars at school and had to go into emergency surgery to repair the displaced bone that clearly was sheared off from her elbow joint. She now has 3 pins in her arm with a full cast from her shoulder to her finger tips. Yesterday I started hearing a squeaking noise within her cast around the area she injured. What is that? Is it possible that the pins are rubbing on the cast material and if so will that effect her healing process? Please help....
