J jA_nY216 New member Jan 11, 2010 #1 I have a brand new 2009 Chevy Aveo with only 1500 miles on it and I got this rotten egg smell about four times while driving the car. What causes the smell? and is something wrong with the car? I hear people say it could be the cat converter?
