what is that paint program that was used on macs around 2002?

i think it was called paintworks, however i looked paintworks up and its this fancy software that would have never been around to 5th graders. i currently have a mac, and want the program to use for fun, and so my brother can use it when he uses my computer. so someone please tell me what it is and where to download!
