It is very simple. God created the heavens and the earth and mankind. In heaven was a rebellion and a third of the multitude followed the evil one and was cast out from heaven. The evil one is filled with Hate for God and his creations , mankind. God sent his Son as a way for men and women to be saved from their sins and the evil one. . How can the evil one fight God and Christianity ? It took him about a thousand years to create his own religion as competition for God and Christianity. The evil one made his religion similar , based it in same area of world . But the evil one religion reflects his ideas. Like do not tolerate other religions. This is why there is no stopping of this conflict. The best that can be hoped for is a armed standoff. Which is what is currently in place .
