What is ONE stupid questions/remark that you heard by news reporters or in the news?

One of my favourites: I heard a comment by the local politician promoting fire safety in the home..."We have seen house fires that cause damage to the house"
DUH! Have you ever seen a house fire that DIDN'T cause damage to the house?
(Just ONE example/story each please)
 
I hate when reporters ask the question "How are you feeling or How do you feel right now?" of someone who has experienced a personal disaster. Normally the person being interviewed has lost a loved one, a house or a car to some disaster. I always want to say, "How do you think they feel or How would you feel if it happened to you?"
