what is the difference between need-based and regular financial aid?
 
After all the calcualtations that school makes they come up, kind of...like a couple figures taking into consideration your $$$ NEEDS and your family ability to pay for the tuition, how much money (grants, scholaships...etc) you will get base on ur fafsa figures and all...
 
some forms of financial aid like loans are out there for anyone that asks for it, regardless of need

'need based' financial aid is just that... based on the needs of the recipient... the qualifying is different and takes into account your assets and your family's income, and can vary from almost nothing to a full ride depending on you r grades and your family income and resources...
