What is most effective way to burn fat at the gym?

I go to the gym for 30-50 minutes around 3 times a week. I mostly do cardio (elliptical, bike, sometimes stairmaster) and a little weight training (mostly the ab and thigh machines). I'm concentrating more on looking slim then fit for now. I'm 5`4, 160 lbs and I'm trying to lose 30-35 lbs. I have a healthy diet and cheat 1-2 times on the weekends every week. What is that best and most effective ways for me to burn fat?
