I've got a exam coming up for Biology, and i'm completely confused over these two subjects...

Is Meiosis used in Sexual Reproduction, so only contains half the genetic information as it fuses with another gamete.
Also, is Mitosis where a cell reproduces for growth and repair, so all the same genetic information is used?

Please help?!

You've got the right information :) you just need to expand on mitosis. This is good revision for me, i have my exam tomorrow!

Mitosis is the division of the nucleus. It results in the formation of two nuclei which are genetically identical and have the same number of chromosomes as the cell before mitosis took place.
