What is Medicine mostly linked to - Chemistry or Biology?

What is Medicine mostly linked to - Chemistry or Biology? I'm thinking about doing it a university. Will it be very similar to chemistry like doing atoms and the atomic mass of stuff and things like that? Also is it very hard?

Any more information will be very much appreciated.
