For homework tonight, I'm supposed to brainstorm and write a lyrical poem. I know the basic attitude and essence of a lyrical poem but, would like a more adequate definiton. To help me understand the "rules" of lyrical poetry, as every type of poetry has, please give me an example as best you can of the lyrical poetry genre.
