Thank God I'm from Texas

I'm an undergraduate economics student at the University of Texas at Austin and I'm considering going to Law school after I graduate. I briefly went over the LSAT and thought it was ridiculous. It will take a lot of work and I want to know if it is worth it. What is Law school like? A lot of reading? A lot of work? I always read articles about people regretting going to law school after they realized the "truth" during the first semester. If you're a law student and could give me some heads up, that would be great.
I mainly want to go into corporate law. I figure economics would help give me a good general education about social workings and business foundations.
