What is it when check engine lights comes on and the mph doesnt move on a 99 dodge...

...stratus? just under 100000? it isnt on when you turn the car on but when you go to drive it sputters and comes on.
so i got the code for it and it is 720 which is the speed sensor...so what do i do now
