What is it like in the UK in History class?

Now that i think about it In the USA History class is all about the USA winning wars, Does the UK talk about the wars and how they lost them or do they talk about other wars they won? I guess what i'm trying to ask is the wars against Britain and the US, US won a great majority if not all of them, so does the UK just talk about " we lost to US and the we lost to the US again"?
