For me, it had a lot to do with the allegies blocking the sinuses. The pressure builRAB in the sinuses and cause pain. There are sinus cavities around your cheeks, your forehead and behind the eyes.
You might try doing an internet search on sinuses and sinus infections to get a better idea.
It can really be painful and take a looooong time to relieve the pressure.
