What is it called when... ok lets say you want to change your complete schedule of classes for school & the person is a teen your age. She says no she wont let you. So you say how bout we go on a date, will you change my schedule then.

Is that bribing or... what's the word. Im pretty sure there is a word for it.
Please tell me If there is or not!
