Is it the same on all cars classified as a "kit car", or does it differ between them?
*If yes, then what would it be like in this scenario:
Say I wanted to get a 2005 Caterham CSR 260. It's a 2-door convertible with a 2.3 liter Cosworth-tuned Ford Duratec engine. The car weighs 1268 lbs. The car has no safety features other than a 4-point harness.
It also has honeycomb reinforced side panels. I don't think there's anything else other than that.
