I recently got an offer for a entry level lab position, and i gave authorization to have my background check. When i read the fine lines, it also said credit check may be included. My question is do they actually check credit or was it just a part of the "fine lines" that they could check your credit if they wanted to. I just dont see how a position as a lab tech has anything to do with my credit. However, i do have bad credit because i havent been able to pay for my bills since i graduated 6 months ago. What are your thoughts? do you think they would deny me a position based on my credit? i have no criminal history, and everything on my resume was legit. Thanks in advance.
