What is happening with my brother who has gone to court and been kept in custody?

what was the crime? Really hard to answer without this basic bit of knowledge.

I will make a stab at it, and say that he plead guilty in court today, and they are holding him until sentencing.

Or I will say that part of being out on ROR was an agreement to say.....not drink and have random drug tests. He failed and so his OR was revoked.
 
My brother was arrested in march 2008 for a crime. although serious no one was harmed. He has had to return to the police station several times, and had been to court today. but he has been kept in custody. why would he have been kept in? what is going to happen? (he doesnt talk to us much about it)
i dont need to tell you exactly. i just want to know what would be the reason he has been kept in?

in the UK they usually give bail on and between court dates.

also ive best answered 84% of my questions. the ones i havnt either i couldnt decide or all didnt help
rafferty, im sure its being held for sentancing, as i know hes going to prison for this eventually. how long would it take for him to get his sentance.
