What is good meal to cook for my lady?

I lost a bet and I told her she can have anything she wanted. So she decides that she wants me to give her a home cooked meal. I am definitely an amateur when it comes to cooking so I was wondering what are some good relatively easy meals to make.

Her favorite food is mashed potatoes but I can't put done a whole plate of mashed potatoes and tell her to "dig in".
