I'm going to make this as short as possible. Basically ive been wanting my ex back. we broke up late march.
Apparently, he was going to ask me back out on prom.But he didnt. I caught my friend talking to him multiple times. The following week a couple days after prom, we hung out. He was acting like we were going to get back together, putting his arm around me and cuddling with me and holding my hand and stuff. Then, he proceeds to tell me how he wants to go on dates with me and stuff, nothing official though. I told him, either i was in a relationship or I wasn't.
We talked about it and he then asked me out. I said I didn't understand since he had just said that but he told me to call my friend- she said he had been planning it for weeks. he told me to think about it since i was worried it wasnt really what he wanted after he said that earlier. So i said i wanted him back and he said he would officially ask me out the next day- he never did.
Then, just recently he tells me that when we were dating he had to make all the moves. He wanted me to start making some moves. He also said " can we get back together but wait until summer? I want to focus on my finals." I realized he is going to the beach right after school gets out, so he is probably just wanting to be single for that then ask me out right when he gets back.
Now today he goes " have you noticed how we havent hugged the past 2 days?" thats because im letting you make all the moves now. but it doesnt really matter i guess. we arent going out. We will go out 4-5 weeks into summer." I go why? and he goes idk im just messin with u.
Basically, thats the jist of it. Im honestly SO confused. My friend thinks hes leading me on- while my sister thinks hes just bored. I want to get back with him but at the same time i believe what they are saying.
