When is someone officially classified as dead? like, when their heart stops beating? it cant be though, cause peoples hearts can be 'restarted' if they stop beating. is it just when all electircal brain activity stops? if so then how would someone be pronounced dead at, say, a roadside scene, when they dont have electrical brain activity moniters right there, they just test the heartbeat, so how would they know they are 'dead'. i looked up dead in the dicitionary and it just says 'when some one ceases to have life' so i looked up life and it just doenst specificaly define when something officially has none. also is there absolutely no way that electrical brain activity can be restarted much like the heart can if it ceases? i would have thought it may be almost possible in todays world? hmmm?? anyone?
