In my opinion, World of Warcraft is NOT friendly to solo players. Oh sure, you can level up by yourself, but what do you do once you're leveled? Yup, that's right. Raids. Oh joy. The exact OPPOSITE of the way I like to play.
I prefer to play solo, but I enjoy competing and cooperating with other players in a persistent world. I know for a fact that I'm not the only player out there like this, so I have always been baffled by the industry's consistent failure to serve this demographic.
Is there anything new under the sun, or perhaps an older game that slipped under my radar? Almost all mmorpgs are solo-friendly to low-level players, of course. How about an mmorpg that's friendly to high-level players as well?
Thanks!
I read and write Japanese, if that helps. I'm guessing it doesn't. (Too bad I don't read or write Korean, haha.)
