What is covered by Apple's warranty for headphones?

If my iPhone headphones went through the washer-machine and drier, and are all crumpled up now, (and for the sake of getting a new pair, I will argue the safety risk). Anyone think this will hold up to Apple's iron fist of *sshole-ness?
They came with a one year warranty; I just don't know what that covers specificly.

I don't think the warranty covers headphones at all... However it's worth a try to go in and ask them Sorry!
