Picture yourself standing in the middle of your most favorite place to be...only you are invisible. If you are able to write about what you see and feel and make it real to the reader, then you have arrived.
I frequently get quite caught up with my own perceptions of Poetry but often doubt them eventually. I'm looking for a description of Poetry in Layman's terms more or less. It's a subject I have much confusion with as I've written many poems but I don't know if they're recognized as Poetry.
