Let's say i want to work, and i'm a high school student, but my dad makes 50k a year. Which is right on the line, which would make me financial need for college. But if i work and make 5k, would that add to his income and make it so i wouldn't get any help from anyone. including scholarships, nafta, ETC. Because it would be adding to the family income? So would i add more, or would my income not count?
What is considered financial need?
